Prosvent LLC, Reno, Nevada - False Advertising
2 comments
I ordered this supplement that I saw advertised on TV. Prosvent is from Reno Nevada.
Shipping and handling was supposed to be free if you purchased the product within 10 days. However, I was charged $9.95 for shipping.
When I called the company they said that they subtracted money from the actual cost of the product, instead of giving me free shipping. B.S.!!
When I said that I would never purchase anything from them again, they still refused to give me a credit for the shipping cost. Sounds like false advetising to me!! sounds like they don't want a returning customer, either.

You do realise that buy subtracting the shipping amount from the price of the origional item, they did reimburse you for the shipping, thereby making it free?
It's not false advertising. See, most Comanche that offer free shipping will have the shipping charged to them. I this case they couldn't do that as it was only free shipping for the first 10 days of orders, so the shipping was charged to you and they just took that amount off the price of the original item so that it would work out to the same total.
